Build it Yourself - Roman Colosseum Paper Model Kit
This is a wonderfully detailed model of the world famous Roman landmark. It is fun but quite challenging to build using 18 sheets of precisely printed, light stone-colored cardboard pieces. The kit includes detailed instructions and self-explanatory 3D diagrams and the structure is designed to be four separate pieces when completed, which join into one structure, measuring approx. 14-1/2" x 12-1/4" x 3-1/2" (for a scale of 1/500). Minimum tools are required - just glue, a knife and some patience - the scoring and cutting pattern is printed on the front side of each piece. The estimated assembly time is a little more than 8 hours. The finished model is quite durable and makes an beautiful and intricate keepsake.
